Utah Nurse DRAGGED out of Hospital by Police ‘This isn’t right’.

Here’s the perfect example of police ignoring the law and doing whatever they want, with whoever they want, because they can.

On July 26, 2017, Salt Lake City Detective Jeff Payne dragged a hospital nurse out of the hospital, handcuffed her and placed her under arrest.

Jeff wanted blood samples taken from a man, who was not under arrest and whom he had no warrant for despite the US Supreme Court declaring that it is a violation of the 4th Amendment to take warrantless blood draws.

The nurse also told Jeff that it is against hospital policy to take warrantless blood draws.

Did Jeff Payne Know

Either Jeff Payne didn’t know this, or he just didn’t care.

Knowing cops like we do, we tip that he just didn’t care. Police officers break the law so many times and don’t get into trouble for it, why should he care about this one?

The video taken of this illegal arrest went viral and caused what is nowadays called ‘a shit storm.’

Jeff told the nurse: “I either go away with blood in vials or body in tow. That’s my only choices. I’m going to follow my boss’s instructions”

The nurse told him: NO BLOOD! And then Jeff Payne went on the warpath, dragged the nurse out of the hospital and put her in handcuffs.

No one tells Jeff no! Ain’t that right Jeff?

We heard an interesting theory on why Jeffery wanted the blood so bad: The person who the police wanted blood from was involved in an accident resulting from a high-speed chase in which the suspect was killed and the ‘blood donor’ was rendered unconscious. So to save themselves from liability, they sent Jeff Payne to the hospital to get blood in the hope of getting some dirt on the unconscious truck driver so the police department could use it against him and then whitewash their unauthorized chase.

Theory or fact

But that’s only a theory and not proven fact. Though we here at ‘The American Police State’ believe it to be fact.

There is a silver lining in all this, and that is Detective Jeff Payne is now Former Detective Jeff Payne.

“I have lost faith and confidence in your ability to continue to serve as a member of the Salt Lake City Police Department,” Salt Lake Police Chief Mike Brown wrote in a letter notifying Payne of the termination.

Fact: The most dangerous creature on earth is an armed cop without a body camera.

And the chief goes on to say: “I am deeply troubled by your lack of sound, professional judgment and your discourteous, disrespectful and unwarranted behavior, which unnecessarily escalated a situation that could and should have been resolved in a manner far different from the course of action you chose to pursue,” Brown continued, according to a copy of the letter obtained by the Deseret News Tuesday.

Yoo, Jeff, we feel the same way.

decision when he ordered Payne to arrest the nurse without “fully understanding the nature of the situation and, as such, violated policy,” according to his disciplinary letter, which was also obtained by the Deseret News.”

Jeff’s attorney said he will appeal the firing so we’ll have to wait to see if he really loses his job.

Usually they get reinstated with back-pay after the ‘shit storm’ dies down. But the outcry was so loud this time maybe Jeff will be an exception to the rule and will have to turn into a so-called ‘nomad cop.’

Jeff, one more thing. We won’t miss you.
